I was looking at things to do for our upcoming trip to Universal and saw this. It's a bit on the pricey side so I was wondering if it was worth it? what does it include food-wise? Any drinks included or dessert.

We have seen the show before but were wondering if this might be fun and of course worth it!

My husband and I did it and really enjoyed it. The 2 of us were seated at a 4 person table right in front of the screen. I know food was included - including a dessert buffet - but I don't remember the details of the meal itself. I seem to remember making our reservations for about 1 hour (maybe 1.5 hours) before the "show". I believe non alcoholic beverages were included and we paid for libations. We had never seen the show before and didn't want to deal with finding a seat last minute or sitting in our chosen spots for hours ahead of time. I remember getting some good nighttime pictures on the walk out because the park was empty.

Did it once, wasn't really extraordinary, but nice. Even on busy nights, I haven't had to claim a spot more than 15-20 minutes ahead of the show...which is shown on 3 barges placed around the lagoon, so there are plenty of good places to enjoy it. Look at the menu and if it something you enjoy and don't mind paying the price for the meal, go for it...I just didn't see extra value in seat placement for the show.

If you plan to eat at Lombards anyway, then wouldn't do any harm.

But as wagman said, it doesn't enhance the show in any way. We find food at Lombards very hit and miss, more a miss recently.

Plenty of excellent viewing places around the lagoon.

I've done it a few times. It is worth it, IMO.

You get to pick an appetizer and an entree off of a list. Dessert does not come with it, however, there are some soft drinks and hot beverages (coffee, tea) and cookies/small desserts put out on the deck for you to enjoy while you wait for the show to start.

I've found the food to be pretty good there, but not great. Basically a little higher class version of Applebees.

As far as the show itself, the deck offers great seating for one of the water screens. But the placement of the screen is such that you don't get a full appreciation for the fireworks that are used in the show (I wouldn't call this a fireworks show, but fireworks are used).

Overall, I find it to be a great way to put an exclamation point on the end of a great day.

The udon noodle bowl was very good recently. DH enjoyed the French dip and sourdough bread is yummy
