I was never even a fan of him or Motley Crue, but the show was pretty interesting. They transformed him over in 12 weeks with a combination of diet, working out, face lift, hairstyle....

Anyone else see it?

yep - and boy does his GF/Fiancee need to let her eyebrows alone...... :earseek:

He looked really bad with the shorter, auburn hair, very girly. She needs to back away from the botox needle. At least we know she would never drown, she has a built in life preserver!

I didn't see this show, but I saw Crue perform on the Tonight Show on New Years Eve, and if that show was taped before then, they've still got some towk to do (My DW's comment: "Some fat guy at Vince !" lol)....Oh, and the band absolutely sounded awesome that night.....all except for Vince, who was worse than I've ever seen him (and I saw Crue in concert several times, back in the day). They oughtta go out and get some sound-a-like to stand in for him, and they would actually be pretty good.

CynJ - oh you mean the Barbie doll with the painted on eyebrows?

I must admit I was interested in watching it and thought the make over was good, but his nose now looks like he has a ball on the tip, like Rudolph, didn't you think?

He's been throught alot with the death of his young daughter Sklyar....but I can't get over the fact that he was still binge drinking, publicly on camera after killing his best friend while driving drunk years ago. It makes me sick...come back or not...he's still a loser to me.

Love the "Crue" though...

Yes, his girlfriend's lips were really scary :earseek:

I knew about his daughter, but didn't know he killed his friend driving. How sad.

Hillbeans, yes, his name was Razzle or something like that, another singer/musician from another band. I forgot to to mention that the vehicle he slammed into injured the 2 passengers for life, he was fall down drunk when it happened.

One thing about rhynoplasty, it takes about a year for all the swelling to subside. So his nose should look better in real life later this year.

I thought he sounded terrible also. I turned the channel.

I saw it too & thought SHE needed a breast & lip reduction! :earseek: I also think he doesn't look good with the darker hair.

I've always been a big, big Motley fan. I'm glad to see that Vince is cleaning up. I just hope he can stick with it. I watched the show and I hated what they did to his hair. Vince is a blond, plain and simple. Also, although many think he sounded bad on Leno, he sounded 1000% better than he's been sounding for the last 10 or so years. I saw him on his solo tour last summer as well as the last Motley tour (without Tommy) and it was just so sad. He would 'sing' every 3rd word and it was just aweful. He may sound bad, but at least now he's trying to get most of the words out.

As for his GF, I saw her for the first time during the Surreal Life. She is NO stranger to plastic surgery!!! :earseek: Can't she see herself in the mirror?? I can't imagine someone would shave off their eyebrows and draw them back on 10 inches higher!!!

Anyhoo, whether he can carry a tune or not, I can't wait until the Reunion tour show. They'll be in DC at the MCI center on March 6th and I can't wait. Long live the Crue!!!!
:rockband:

MC Hammer reached out to Vince in an episode of the first season of "The Surreal Life." He brought Vince to church to help Vince cope with the loss of his daughter. It's sad to see him back to his old ways. I'm jazzed about the Crue reunion, but I don't think he's ready for the rigors of touring. After his stunt on the Tonight Show, Vince is nothing but fodder for the sports talk shows on the radio around here (well him at Ashlee Simpson).

Vince has been battling with the bottle since the early 80's. For Nikki Sixx (sigh, that man just continues to be good looking) and Tommy Lee the drug of choice was Heroin. For Vince, it's booze. He claims he's clean but he still drinks like a fish.
Oh and as for his girlfriend, if you look to his long string of ladies and past wives he has always preferred large chested platnium blondes.
Razzle was the name of the guy he killed. He was the original drummer for a band called Hanoi Rocks.
If you want a good book that is a real eye opener to this band and what they are about, go out and get their book called "The Dirt" It's great. Really well written!
Diana (A Motley Crue fan since 1983)

How funny! As I hit the Submit Reply button, in the other room I hear "Home Sweet Home" playing on VH1 Classic...

DH and I watched it... good show. He seems like such a nice guy. I did like his hair though, but agree that he looks better as a blonde. Maybe if they had kept it blonde, but a darker blonde. We, too, were wondering what was up with his girlfriends eyebrows... or lack of!

The Dirt is an excellent book. Don't read it if you shock or offend easily though.

I've been a Crue fan since 83. Vince is an alcoholic. He can't deal with what he did to Razzle (who just as easily could have been the one driving that night) abnd the other people. And then he can't deal what happened with his child. Karma is something isn't it? That's my take on it.

I wish him the best. He was always my favorite one. Though I would LOVE to sit down and talk with Nikki.

I missed the beginning & the end of the show. The last I saw was when they cut to commercial & said that Vince had one last surprise for his family & it showed his wife crying. What was the surprise?

I think I remember hearing at the end of the show that they are planning a winter 2005 wedding.

If you missed the show (like me) it is being replayed this afternoon on VH1. I believe at 1:00 CST.

I have always been a Motley Crue fan and it is sad to see how some of the band members have aged. Mick Mars can barely move because of the degenerative disease he battles, and Vince is just out of shape. I will agree with a previous post that he is 100X better than he was the last tour. He was so out of breath he could not sing 75% of the words.

As for Nikki and Tommy, they sold their soles to the devil years ago and still look like the Rock icons they were in the '80's. I for one am looking forward to the Crue show on March 10th at the Allstate Arena.
