Hi Everyone! :flower3: I'm trying to figure out all the logistics of the wedding and don't really know where to start. So I have a LOT of questions.

~How did you get all the bridesmaids to the area to get ready? Same for Groomsmen, do they all get ready together?
~How did the wedding party get to the ceremony for pre ceremony pics, etc?
~How did your guests get to the ceremony?
~If a bus picked them up, how early before the ceremony did they need to be ready?
~Did a bus take everyone back to their hotel after the reception?

I just don't want to miss any important step in planning/budgeting transportation and logistics. All advice and input is welcome! Thanks in advance! :flower3:

I am not married yet but I am only 2 weeks away and I have answers for you!

My MOH is spending the night with me in my room and will get ready there with me. The Best Man is spending the night with DF and will get ready there.

The wedding party is being picked up by a limo. The men get picked up first and dropped off then it comes to my resort to pick me up.

Our guests are being taken to the ceremony in a bus. The bus starts about 1 1/2 hours before the ceremony. Disney will provide you with a timeline in your BEO that you can supply to your guests. (I added a card with our invites)

The bus will return the guests to their resorts after all of the wedding day festivities.

I just worked through all the travel logistics with my WC a last week! It was like doing a puzzle!! :rotfl: And I only have 18 guests!

I'm thinking your WC should really help you figure it out, as I would never have been able to do it all by myself as I don't know the rules etc. (I knew I couldn't wear my dress TO the DP, but she told me I need to get a car to exit the park as well!!)

With our wedding/reception dinner/DP it's tough because the dinner is so far away from the BoardWalk area...we cannot use our limo after dinner as it will be more than 4 hours, so we worked out something else instead..

Definitely talk to your WC if your concerned with budgeting etc...

Lorilei, is it the wedding consultant... the pre-contract signing person or the wedding planner, the post-contract person who helps with this? Thanks for the info!!! :flower3:

It's the actual Wedding Planner/Co-ordinator that will help you with those logistic details. After you sign your contract, and begin your communication with your WC, if you are concerned budget wise etc..bring it up sooner rather than later. (As I said, we just figured it out, and I'm about 3 months out. We had to do it because she will be working on our BEO shortly...)

So, rather than being one of the last things you discuss, you can start talking about it early on...the only thing is you need to know for sure where all of your guests will be staying and what time any wedding related events or meals will be...

Thanks so much! I think I'll bring it up as soon as we get a planner. This way I can budget transportation easier! :) Thanks again! :flower3:
