I figure the dining plan info is stored on a card, but exactly how? We will have a big party, and I wonder if the information is stored on each person's card, or is it on one master card? How does it work? Thanks.

I know the credits are pooled - I would think it would be whoever is staying in a room.

Like if Mom, Dad and Joe are staying in one room together- they would have all their credits pooled together. They could swipe any of those 3 people's card at the meal to use the credits.

All the information is stored on the ATS (Automated Ticketing System) main computer. This keeps track of all currently valid tickets and Resort IDs. Everything, including the finger scan algorithm, is tied in to the serial number on the ticket or card. All the cards on a reservation will have the same numbers except for the last few digits which will identify the specific card. This is why if you charge things to your room you can tell, on the folio, which card did the charging.
