Logans Restaurants Gone?

Rumour is that the Logan's dining restaurants have all closed down due to the credit crunch. And so, with Logan's being one of our favourite restaurants; we were very upset. However, recently, one of our friends visited Orlando and said that he found one of the Logan's restaurants were open. Is it true that the one located off of the I4 is still open?

The Logan's in Portage, Mi is still open, we had dinner there a few weeks ago.

Haven't heard anything about Logan's Roadhouses closing, would think it would make the paper. The similarly named (and almost identically themed) Roadhouse Grill chain shut down all but one of its central FL locations, tho. I could see people confusing the two. Then again, after Bennigans shut-down, I guess I could see both chains closing, as well.

Yeah, the Roadhouse Grill in our area closed awhile back, but the Logan's is still open. DH and I just ate there a week or so ago.

We ate at the one on 192 just off I4 10 days ago.

They are actually building one in Richmond, KY right off I75. I have heard nothing about Logan's closures. Our local Lone Star closed a few months ago, maybe there is confusion between the 2 names.

If you mean Logan's Roadhouse - the steak place with free peanuts - they seem to be thriving not closing. We ate there (the 192 location by Celebration) twice a couple weeks ago and it was very good. On the other hand the Roadhouse Grill - formerly further up 192 toward Kissimee closed about 8 months ago. We liked that too but they are now history.
