Logan - How Early??

Flying out of Logan on Saturday on Song. How early should I arrive??? 2 hours?? 1 1/2 hours??

It really depends. I'd get there at least an hour beforehand, but I don't think 2 hours is really needed. The last two times I've flown out of Logan (last year), I did that self check in thing with the computers and got through security very quickly. They did make me take off my shoes but that only took about 5 minutes.

I think it depends on the size of your group too. It was just myself and another adult the last two times I went.

I say plan to get therer two hours before flight departure time. There are numerous things that can go wrong, you could be delayed in traffic gettting to.

I've always gotten there about 1 1/2 hours early and had PLENTY of time to kill at the gate.

We're leaving logan on Saturday via logan too. We're going to use online check-in and then curb-side for the baggage. Spoke with Song today and they said this will be OK. We'll be there 2 hours early. Hey, the airport is still officially 'on vacation'.

We get there about an hour to an hour and a half early. I hate hanging out at the airport. I got to Delta for a NYC flight 30 minutes early and we were fine.

Just be prepared to have to wait in a line. I have not been able to use online checkin out of logan, it seems certain times they require in person check-in. When i tried to ask why this was no one really knew. All our stuff was in order and we had seat assignments they just required we wait in line, no curbside checks allowed either.

Logan is the ONLY airport I get to two hours in advance. I have no idea why security there always seems slower then the rest of the country, but.... I always have to wait in a SLOW line.
