logan airport on Wed

How crazy do u think Logan airport will be this Wed am, with Thanksgiivng being Thursday . Our flights leaves for mexcio at 7:15 am. Trying to figure out how much time we need.

I'm guessing crazy. But you never know with Logan. Your best bet is to get there early. It's better to sit in the terminal than stress in the security line. I once got to Logan at 6am for a 7:45 flight. We were in the security line at 6:05 and running in full sprint with strollers to the gate at 7:25. Yup. The line was slow and insane. Half our flight didn't make it and the plane took off half full. Other times we've breezed right through. But now we always get there at least 2 hours before.

What terminal will you be in?

I second the above. With the added TSA screening (and yes, Logan is one of them), I think that two hours won't be enough. Where are you coming from? I would say three hours bare minimum to be in line...but that's me. I'd rather be early and bored out of my skull than miss Thanksgiving. You won't get another flight.

I agree. I would plan for 3 hours, minimum. From what I've read this week, the body scans and pat downs are really slowing things down.

DH is working at Logan and he said it was crazy busy today! With the new screening process (scan or search) its taking longer to get people through security. There's a grass roots movement for all people to opt out of the scan on Wednesday (not sure how many will do it). I would plan to be there at least 3 hours before your flight.

At least you're not flying Delta. That terminal is a good 10-15 walk from security.
