I am staying 8 nights in RPR in June at AAA rate. I am wondering, how do I make sure that I get credit so that I can get my Gold membership. And will they automatically send me a new card or do I need to ask?

I am staying with the AAA rate instead of switching to AP to make sure I get a qualifying stay so I want to be sure I get credit.



(I plan on a surprise trip sometime in the fall for just me and the boy, and want to be eligible for upgrades, etc)

Another thing you might want to do is save all your hotel receipts. Then about a month after you return home, call Loew's directly and make sure you're documented correctly in their computer. One year I had to fax them copies before I got credit for our 10-night stay. Better to check before too much time goes by. Oh, and unless the process has changed, you'll get your gold card when you least expect it. As long as you verify your level status with Loew's after your trip, you will be in all the computers correctly and you won't really need to show your card anyway.
