It really doesn't make a difference. Sometimes the LF line is longer than the others. My sister used the LF line and she didn't have a LF number and booked the room on a special with her AP. It's not like the LF line is a shortcut or express line or something. They may have 3 or 4 people staffed at the front desk and just one person on the LF line. You'll see when you get there. We're platinum, and we don't even use the LF line to check in.

What is an aph rate? I am UO newbie, and I made my reservation through AAA. I did join Loews before I made the reservation and gave my LF# when I made it. What should I expect? I thought I would just get a welcome gift & possibly late check out.

APH = annual pass holder. This rate is available for people with either the preferred annual pass or premiere annual pass, but not the power pass. The AAA rate is a qualifying LF rate while the APH rate is not. You should receive the LF perks.
Yes, but only one person usually works it. If that person is available and you're a member, use it. If that person is unavailable and there's a line waiting, use the regular check-in.
