My family is returning to WDW after a many year hiatus with my DD who will be almost 2. It will be me and DH, plus two sets of grandparents, so we will need three rooms. I was hoping for a 3 BR suite/Villa but doesn't seem to be an option. Favorite option right now is 3 preferred rooms at CBR. We like CBR because of toddler friendly pool and direct bus with new skytram coming.

What are your favorites for this set up? Considered All Star but want a more direct bus for naptimes. AoA was preferred but only rooms left are the family suites (not ideal sleeping arrangement for 3 set of adults). Concerns are ease of transportation to/from parks, toddler friendly splash area, and bed/bath per couple.

TIA!

A 3BR villa would have to be booked with DVC pointa in November 2018 (11 months out).

I would base resort on budget. 3 units at a Value or Mod will be a lot cheaper than a GV even on points rental.

There is no official opening date for the skyliner so I wouldn’t necessarily pick a resort based on that. If you like CBR itself, it’s a good choice.

As PP pointed out, it’s too soon to book a grand villa and there are no 3 bedroom suites at WDW resorts. If you want to try for a 3 bedroom villa, you could do a point rental starting in November (we like Dave’s) or call WDW directly between November and March to see what’s available as a cash reservation. When I called in April for a November reservation this year, GVs at AKV and SSR were still available. Renting points will be cheaper than a cash reservation.

If interested, you can also call Swan/Dolphin for suite pricing. Their suites cost much less than WDW suites.

I liked POFQ with my 21 month old. They have a cool splash area for the smaller set. I'd price out 3 rooms there as well. I didn't find the bus service bad (except for one wonky night trying to leave epcot). Plus with a stroller, IT'S SO NICE AND COMPACT

Thank y'all! I've been looking at DVC points, but didn't realize the villas weren't open for ressies yet!

I think the best pool for the little ones is at Kidani at AK. If you rent points you could get 3 studios and make it affordable. If mine were still little that is where I would stay. My kids always loved the animals to.
