Got a question. Now, I've read ALL the books, LOL. But I picked up something new yesterday while rereading. If you're staying at AKL do you have priority at Jiko and Boma? In other words, if I have no PS and walk up to one of the restaurants the same day, will I not have to wait 3 hours to get a table? The book said something about making priority seating only if you weren't staying at the lodge. This is just a curiosity question since I've already made PS reservations for both Boma and Jiko during our stay. You never know, we did leave 2 nights open with no PS arrangements.

Thanks.

I haven't heard that, but I'd like to know, too. Our next trip is a "Mickey- quickie" to AKL in July.

No, you won't "jump to the head of the line", unless you are a concierge guest--sometimes if they call and say you are on your way this will work (it did for us in March at Boma's).

Just a side note -

We went in October and had no problems going to Boma for dinner. We walked right in.... not because we were guests at the resort but because there was not really any wait.

We have stayed at the AKL twice and we still had to make the PS's. In fact, we were unable to get into Jiko one night because it was totally booked.

One nice thing about Universal is that if you stay at one of their hotels you do get automatic PS at the Citywalk restaurants by showing your room card at the door when you arrive. That is cool!:D
