Lodge Tower Room/Bldg. Location/GF!!!

Phew!!! We've FINALLY decided on a Lodge Tower room at GF for our upcoming vacation. My question is this...We like the location of Boca Chica and Conch Key best. Any experts out there who know precisely what the Lodge Tower rooms look at in each bldg.? In other words, in Conch Key, is it a corner room where we will see part of the lagoon AND the gardens - or will we strictly have a garden view? In Boca Chica, I think I've read where the LT rooms face the main bldg. and quiet pool. However, it looks like there is a pool bldg. which might obstruct the Lodge Tower room view in Boca Chica. Is this true?

I know my questions sound very specific, but the GF may be a once in a lifetime exp. for us. Just want to be well informed in order to make our requests!!! THANKS!!!

OOPs...one more thing...is the sq. footage difference worth the xtra price in the Lodge Tower room?

The lodge tower rooms are in the middle of the buildings. So you look straight out, there are no corners. If you look at the map of the GF you can see exactly what you're looking at. Just find the area where there's sort of a box shape just off from center. It sort of sticks out. That's where the lodge tower rooms are. If you see on the resort map the ones in Conch overlook the walkway and Narcoosee's. I bet the room on the 4th floor has a partial lagoon view. In Boca Chica you can see that it overlooks the pool area, sort of, and in Big Pine Key you can see how the pool house blocks your view.

As far as the square footage goes, it's a very personal thing. If you feel you'd benefit from a small sitting area then you'll be happy, but remember... the rest of the room and the bathroom are exactly the same as any other room.

Thanks so much for all the info., Erika!! Any idea how tall the pool bldg. is by Boca Chica? It looks like part of the Lodge Tower room might be obstructed by it??? Between Boca Chica and Conch, which would you choose??

Out of those two I would choose Conch Key. We really enjoyed that building because it was so close to the boat dock, and if your room is high enough you'll probably be able to see part of the lagoon to your left.

Boca Chica would not be bad either. I don't think the pool building is really blocking anything. How much time do you really spend on the balcony anyway?? You're still going to have a good view of the grounds and other buildings.

Don't forget about Sago Cay either. We really enjoyed it. We had a great view of the marina, lagoon, and Space Mountain... I think it would be better than Conch or Boca Chica (in my humble opinion) .... and also we were super close to Gasparilla Grill for snacks and drinks.

Thanks AGAIN! I like the idea of Sago Cay - it just looks so much farther from the theme pool than either Boca Chica or Conch. Would you agree ??

Not sure about this...but I'm pretty sure you can't see the castle or fireworks from the LT rooms in Sago Cay.
