Me too! Thanks for looking it up!![]()
It's like "jumper"... when I read a UK author and see that term in connection with a guy wearing a sweater, I picture a guy in a little girl's dress.![]()
Wow, I agree with disneyfaninaz that they have changed the lockers since we were there in May, it has always just dispensed a slip with a code that you have to enter. We have used both cash and credit/debit cards to rent them.
One word of caution: we have twice (but only twice, and we rent a locker every day that we are in the parks) had an issue where the kiosk machine locked up, much like any computer will, and as we had already swiped our card, it deducted the money although we weren't able to get the locker. Both times, we visited City Hall and were quickly refunded the money, and it isn't a big deal to have $10 or so held up on a card, but just fyi. We try to only use cash now, because the freeze problem is apparently more likely when it is processing a card; just for the sake of saving time we use cash when we can.
A US Jumper, a little girl's dress, would be a pinafore in Australia, and a jumper in Australia is a woollen sweater. Oh, and what we call thongs are known as flip-flops I believe in the USA!!!Me too! Thanks for looking it up!![]()

Thanks for the info about the lockers - I'm trying to minimise how much cash we'll need for the trip, and avoiding a trip to the ATM.
Here is a pic of a sloppy joe - it's the first one I found. They're normally a little more stylish than this, but you'll get the idea. A sloppy joe is normally a fine polar fleece, but can be heavier or lighter weight depending on the season. School kids will often wear them with matching "trackie-dacks" (tracksuit pants made from polar fleece.)
