Lockers at Fort Wilderness

Hello! My husband and I will be staying at Fort Wilderness in a tent next October 2017 and we were planning on buying a car to lock things in during the day. A friend of mine who is a Disney fanatic suggested checking DisBoards to see if anyone knew if there were lockers within Fort Wilderness at each campsite? Everything I have read thus far has said no, but she said she would ask anyways!
Thank you!
Sarah

I know for a fact there are some down at the boat rental/dock. Small and square with the key in the slot of each and on a wrist strap. Don't know if there are any up around the pool (never really paid attention) but I will look in the next day or two. I am at the Fort now but will be busy tomorrow. I don't know how long they rent for.

There are also lock boxes available at the Check-in desk, I believe, that aren't big enough to hold a laptop. The cabins have their own boxes IIRC.

PS - office supply stores like Office Depot or Staples also sell lockable boxes for events that deal in cash with either a key or 3 tumbler lock built in.

1) We do not have lockers large enough for laptops and such.
2) We only have smaller safe-deposit-boxes at the Front Desk.
. . . they are free for use
. . . like a bank, you have a key and we have a key
. . . takes both keys to open
. . . and, only the person signing for the box has access
3) Every resort has these at the Front Desk.
4) They are usually used for small valuables, that should NEVER be kept in the room or the room safe
. . . cash
. . . credit cards you aren't using while on-property
. . . passports
. . . jewelry
. . . airline tickets

SAFE DEPOSIT BOXES "411": (at every Resort Front Desk)
Safe Deposit Boxes:
. . . ALL resorts do have safety boxes at the Front Desk
. . . there are two sizes (about 4"x5"x15" and about 5"x7"x15")
. . . like a bank, you place goods in box and you & hotel each get a key
. . . you sign a card and initial the card upon each entry thereafter
. . . two sizes at each resort (big laptops do not fit either size)
. . . there is no charge for their use
. . . the hotel is not responsible for the items that you deposit *
. . . no resort has a public "safe" behind the Front Desk
. . . resorts do not put guest items into the main hotel safe
. . . you can only use the safety deposit boxes

As a note for large items left at bell services:
. . . items left with Bell Services are not guaranteed secure
. . . functioning condition for mechanical/electrical devices not guaranteed
. . . and, there are no separate "lock boxes" or "cages" in luggage rooms **
. . . additionally, seldom are luggage rooms kept locked at any resort
. . . frequently guests are found walking through the luggage rooms

* By using the safe deposit boxes, hotels are completely harmless from
liability. The guest handles, places and removes items, so the hotel does
not have any chance to alter, damage, or lose items. No hotel that would
take responsibility for valuables. There is just too much chance for guests
to flim-flam the hotel for lost or damaged goods.

** Some luggage rooms have cages, but those are for a) WDW items needing
to be secured (like wheelchairs at OKW) and b) secured luggage room for bags
checked for DME flights through BAGS, Inc.

The boxes are actually sized to hold hand held firearms. Not telling anyone what to do, but proper procedure at a WDW resort is to store your weapon there, thereby not violating the wepaons free policy. There's always excess capacity, so they let people store valubles while assuming no liability as well.
