Locker question...

It has been a long time since I've rented a locker at DLR but might need one this time.

I don't want to drag around the backpack all day and am wondering how the lockers function....

Do you have access in/out all day or once you open it you have to pay again to use it?

When you get to the lockers, you choose one of the screens - each corresponds to a set of lockers. You pay (cash or CC) and then you are given a receipt that has the locker number and the 6-digit code. The locker will be blinking (or solid?) red to help you locate it and it is unlocked. You put all your stuff in and lock it. You can return as many times as you want, but make sure you have the code!!! You need it to get back in the locker. You go back to the machine, input the code, and it unlocks the locker for you.

Thanks for the info! I'd rather stow the backpack and go back and forth to get the stuff we need! Good to know I can go in and out all day!
