Lock off vs non lock off?

What are the virtues of the 2 bedroom lock-off vs the non-lock-off 2 bedroom at Aulani?

I think the big difference is the 2 bedroom lock-off is a 1 br villa + studio villa with an adjoining door. That means the studio portion has a queen bed, queen sleeper sofa, and a kitchenette. In a dedicated 2 bedroom, the other bedroom contains 2 queen beds and no kitchenette. The dedicated 2br also has 2.5 baths (one full bath per room plus a powder room right at the entry).
