Lock-off villas vs. non-lock-offs

Is there really any difference, other than the door that connects to the (locked-off) adjacent unit?

For two-bedrooms, yes there is a difference! Dedicated 2BR units have two queen beds in the second bedroom. Lockoff 2BR have a studio-style layout with sofabed and queen bed.

Definitely a difference! The 2 br lockoff is a 1 br + a studio with an adjoining door - there are two entrances to the unit, a big kitchen in one, and a small fridge/microwave in the other, both rooms have king beds. The dedicated 2 bedroom has one entrance to the unit, and extra half bathroom near the entrance, one room has two queen beds and the other a king. We stayed in a dedicated 2 br in February and loved it.
