Locations to watch Believe

Headed up on Friday, with hopes of seeing the Christmas Parade, PTN, and Believe.

When we previously saw PTN, the fireworks were immediately following (60th Anniversary), and we had been told that a Main St. location was important in order to see the projections on the Main St. buildings.

Friday is different, with PTN at 6:30 and Believe at 9:30.

Thoughts on strategies? Best viewing locations? Is it important to see Believe from Main St., or are there other great locations? When do they start letting people just stand around for a fireworks spot?

We're not doing a package, and while we don't mind showing up early, we don't want to stake out spots 2 hours in advance. Any help or advice is appreciated! ;)

Seeing Believe from the hub or Main Street is always preferred to other areas. That's why it's so crowded. Watching from Small World is alright. Lots more space, and not so many heads to look over if you're short.

Personally, I like watching all of the fireworks shows from somewhere on Main Street. I like being able to see the castle while watching the fireworks show. It's probably a little less important for Believe because there is no Tinkerbell in that show, but I still like being able to see the castle. The Hub/Main Street is the most popular location and will fill up the fastest (especially the hub).

I have watched Believe from near It's a Small World and that's another popular location. They do the projections on the Small World facade and it does snow in the area. I don't think it fills up as fast as the Hub/Main Street, but I wouldn't count on getting a good spot at the last minute (it was pretty full by the time the show started when I was there). I think that IaSW Mall is probably the second most popular location for FW watching.

NOS and the ROA are another option for fireworks viewing. I haven't really watched Believe from over there, but I have caught some other fireworks show from that area and they were okay. I do think they make is snow in that area as well, but I don't know if they're still any of the projections on the F! mist screens or not.
