Location request @ OKW

We just booked a studio at OKW for Thanksgiving week. HH area wasn't available. So which area would you request and why? It will be me, DH, DD8, and DS5. Thanks!

I think I'd go with Turtle Pond, you'd be close to the quiet pool and snack bar. And the bus stop is right there. Best of luck!

We stayed near the Turtle Pond are recently (Building 44) and it was excellent except for not being near HH.

We always stay in the Turtle Pond area and that is the only place I would stay. I love the pool, quiet for the most part.

If you want to be near the HH, but can't get that category, I'd suggest buildings 15, 16, 17, or 18 in the Miller Road area.

Not bad at all. I have some serious back issues that can make walking very painful, and even I don't mind the walk. For some reason, it felt shorter to me than the walk from some of the Penninsula Road buildings that are HH category. Building 18 is kind of iffy, though, as far as a comparison.

OP here. We are here now and didn't get our request. We are in building 46. Pretty good location. It is very quiet and the walk to HH isn't too bad (without the kids, they are pokey!). Is there a refill station near the South Point pool?

The only refill is at the main pool. Turtle Pond pool does have a seasonal snack bar, not sure if there is a refill station.

Spent the last two weeks here at OKW. As previously stated the main pool has a refill station and so does the turtle pond pool. However at the turtle shack it is not a self serve and the shack does not open until 11:00am. Not sure how early it closes.

Huge shout out to the staff at OKW. We came in with soaked feet last night after walking in the rain all day. They provided us with newspapers to stuff in the kids shoes and sent a box fan to our room. Ten hours later our kids shoes were completely dry and we are off to MK!

There's no name on the map, but I would assume it's an extension of Millers Road. In any case, 11 to 14 and 23 to 26 are the "near hospitality house" booking category.
