Are all the 6B cabins aft??

Assuming you are talking about the Dream (or the Fantasy), all of the category 6 staterooms are aft.

To get out of aft and still have a verandah you have to bump up to at least a Category 5D.

Hmm, we are 5E and are definitely aft- by choice, though. We are in 8188 on the Dream for Jan 2013. I use this to figure out which room/category I want. I think it is more user friendly than a lot of the others I have seen.
