Local gas prices...

Filled up @ UPI for 1.19/l in Glencoe Ontario and the attendant reports an increase tomorrow to 136.99 tomorrow :earseek:

Just came back from WDW last night via DTW and filled up at the Detroit bridge for $2.99/gal US

$1.06 / litre in small town Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. In Winnipeg, 45 miles east, it is $1.19.

$1.399 in Dartmouth NS today - it was still only (!) 1.289 in Halifax, but I think it'll be up by tomorrow if it isn't already.

1.28-1.29/ litre in Goderich Ontario

I live in Northern Virginia, near Washington DC. The local service station(an independent) has REGULAR gas for $3.69 9/10 (US $ and that's per US gallon). I've seen other places with regular starting at $3.09 9/10 (US) and up. We haven't had the lines here places further South have had (some areas in Georgia/Florida have even run out), there seems to be plenty of supply, but darn it's getting expensive.

agnes!

I was watching the National or something of that nature last night and one of Candas largest refineries in PEI is purposly slowing production because of Government subisdised gas prices they say it just isn't worth it to them to sell it so cheaply. Come on guys get your heads out of your butts there is no way gas needs to be this expensive.

On Wednesday I filled up at 101.9, yesterday it was up to 122.9. I live in Kemptville.

Here in Toronto it's 1.34/ltr!!! Unless it is absolutely neccessary, I will be walking or takung public transit until the prices drop!
TG it is still nice out.. baby will be happy in her stroller.

Here in St. Thomas it went from 1.16 at 12:30 to 1.339 at 2:00. That is just to big a jump.

Somewhere in Mississippi I believe they showed someone filling up and they got 5 gallons for $300!!!!! I guess we should consider ourselves lucky!! My DH just filled up his little (fuel efficient) Toyota Echo for $45!!!! Thats insane!!

I paid $1.339, got 14 litres of gas and I paid $20. It gave me a 1/4 tank in a Montana Van!!!

...and today - Friday, Sept 2 - northeastern Nova Scotia, we've got $1.41/litre...

Could someone tell me WHERE this will end? pirate: pirate:
Our local gas station doesn't have enough room on the sign for any more numbers!!

Unethical, and unbelievable... :sad2:

:sunny:

It appears Kitchener is seeing in the range of $1.20-$1.60/Litre. I was told Sunoco (as Usual) was the highest.

Here in Mississauga/Oakville it was 1.33 L.. :earseek: My Ford Focus got filled up yesterday at 1.13, and what normally costs $24 ish to fill cost $40. Im going to start walking to work if this keeps up.

Perhaps after labour day we will see a drop in prices?

It was $1.33 here in Burlington last night. I hope after this weekend things start to level off.
