We are about to move to Florida :yay: so when we take our next cruise in February we will not be using DCL transfers or a rental car. Because of the high cost of parking we will get our DS to drop us off at the port. Since it has been years since we have driven our own vehicle what is the procedure to enter the port area and be dropped off and then picked up? Is there a charge to enter the port? I usually see the shuttle driver for the car rental company stopping at a gate and giving them a ticket to enter.

Thanks for the help. :worship:

As the Cruise Directors say - there's one way in and one way out!! Drop off and pick-up is very easy - there's no charge and you don't need a ticket. Just exit into the cruise ship area you turn right and follow the signs. There'll be a security guard at the entrance of the drop off area - just tell him/her you're dropping off he'll point you to a spot and that's it. You'll be pick-up in the same area. If you have luggage to drop off he'll point you to that area. Basically it's one big circle. Have a great cruise.

It's very easy and there is no charge. At the port there are people outside to direct the driver where to go. You just pull around to where you are directed, unload your luggage and say good bye. :) :)
