Local bakery offsite WDW

We have ventured offsite and found Flipper's Pizza in the Crossroads Shopping Center. We really like their pizza and steak hoagies.

Does anyone know of a good local bakery? Not Disney and not in a grocery store.

We are looking for good doughnuts (not Krispy Creme) and coffee rolls.

Publix has great bakeries in their stores.

Can't really think of any independent bakeries in the area--most are in grocery stores, it's just the suburban culture down here. The Dessert Lady, up by Universal, does cakes, but not really what you are looking for.

There is a Panera Bread on Apopka-Vineland Road (near Premium Outlets); it sells breads, bagels, a few sweet baked goods. No doughnuts, tho.

Publix has great bakeries in their stores.

I know it is in a grocery store but they are the bomb!!!!! JMHO

Perkins has a bakery section. There is one at Crossroads.
