Has anyone had the lobster at Shula's Steak House?

I haven't eaten it but I've seen it when they do the menu presentation. It's a big usually 4 pounder!

I have not had the Lobster but just ans FYI if you are planning to take children.....we were told 3 times when we made reservations and numerous times while waiting for a table they do not have a children's menu. We have eaten at many 5 star places with our children and they are excellent at the table. They do not want children there and even made it very clear after we were seated they don't want children. In hindsight I wish we would have left due to their rude behavior not the behavior of my children. The kids were great!

Shula's is fantastic; however, just in case you're not aware of the prices, there were 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 under 2. The bill was over $400. I almost passed out. We asked for a recommendation that evening for a nice steak. I didn't mean flown in fresh from Texas that night! Anyway, that was in 2002.

We've had the lobster there a couple of times. It's always been delicious. They'll shell it for you if you'd like.

In our experience, that's not that uncommon in nicer restaurants. We've never had a problem taking our DS, or ordering his meal off the adult menu. If we did, we'd choose a different restaurant.

There's just 2 of us & we were hoping to keep it under $200.

Sounds wonderful. I can steam a whole lobster at home but I really love it broiled & that's something I just cant do with a live lobster.

1) I see nothing wrong with this.
2) Adults do need somewhere to be by themselves.
3) There are plenty of nice restaurants at WDW that welcome kids.
4) I occasionally want a fine meal and not be bothered by kiddies.
5) By the way, I had the lobster, and felt it was great.

NOTE: Let's remember that behavior is a matter of perspective. Many folks think their kids were well behaved, where people around them thought they should have been left at home.

Many adults should be left at home as well. My point was I never asked if there was a kids menu! And the drunk man behind us after their third bottle of wine was a heck of a lot worst than anyone at our table....Our bill was over $600 we were knowing what kind of a place we were going to. If you want to go to a place without children WDW "The happiest place on earth" is not the place to go.
