Is there one night that Palo,s has Lobster on the menu? And
if so what night? Or is there another restaurant that has lobster on thier menu?
All you want? I am thinking about the romance package even though our boys
will be with us. Is that a good deal or what? All these questions are really
about not wanting to risk not getting a ressie at Palo's. Am I making to much
of a big deal about the rush? I asked this months ago, but calm me down will
you nice people? Thank You kindly!! :earsgirl: :smooth: :bounce:

I was at Palo two weeks ago, I didn't see lobster listed as a menu item. Not sure if I could have requested it or not. There was lobster being served at the Serenity adult beach on Castaway Cay day, but it wasn't "advertised" on the menu board, so I'm not sure if this is a regularly featured item or not. It was a nice surprise though and quite delicious! :cloud9:

If you get on the ship reasonably early, (before the transfers) you should have no problem getting Palo's reservations.

As far as I know there is no lobster on Palos menu. However, there is cold crab legs and lobster claws in Palos brunch.

Thursday night is lobster night for all dining rotations on the 7 day Eastern Cruise. Not sure about Western. So, if you want lobster, don't reserve Palos on Thursday. It is not unlimited lobster. It's a lobster tail and you may be able to ask for second if available.

Have no opinion on RES, but it's not worth it just to get reservations for Palos.

When there are Lobster tails on CC those are the "leftovers" from Lobster Night. They don't put them on the menu because there aren't always leftovers, and when there are it's a limited number.

If the lobster is not unlimited then when we cruise everyone in our group will "have" to order lobster and those who can't stand lobster will "have" to give their lobster tails to DH (who wanted to order one for appetizer, two for entree, and one for dessert  )

Does anyone know if there will be more than one lobster night on the 14 night repo cruises???

Wow, I had never heard that about the lobsters on the Thursday night rotation or the leftovers at Castaway, thanks!

Captains Gala Dinner, Thursday night, has baked lobster tails...

To be on the safe side....if your thinking your going to want more than one tail...you may want to order them at the start of the meal.

On the 7 night Western, Semi-formal night is Thrusday night. They serve lobster in ALL of the rotaional restrurants, and in Palo. It is not baked at Palo, but broiled to order and is wonderful!!

You server will bring your DH more lobster if he just asks. He might mention to them on Wed night that he would like to start off with at least 2 tails. They are there to provide "excellent service" and are more than willing to be very generous with the food.

Palo will have lobster on the same night as the regular rotational restaurants. It is prepared differently, however.

We did the Lobster double dip on our cruise. We had early seating for dinner, so we made a late Palo reservation for Thursday (on the Eastern).

We went to dinner in the dining room, only ordered lobster.

Then we went to dinner at Palos, did the full meal, but the main course was of course... lobster

Yum

DW, DS and I each ordered two lobster tails at the get-go on Captain's Gala earlier this month, there was no hesitation or attitude, and Franck our charming assistant server from France was expert at removing all six tails from the shell for us. And toward the end of dinner the chef came to our table to see how we enjoyed our dinner.

Every so often I see a posting about servers giving attitude when a second lobster tail is asked for. Seems a shame. I don't know the circumstances, perhaps a bad night, perhaps something else. We made friends with our servers early and had our best cruise ever, and we have enjoyed all of our cruises so that is saying something.

DW and I had lobster at Palo the same night as regular lobster night in the rotation dining rooms (Thursday on the Eastern) - wonderful sauce and risotto.

Is lobster only served on 7 night cruises? What about 3 or 4 night cruises? Just wondering

No lobster on the Wonder....

we had lobster on Saturday night on the wonder three day cruise - it was a surf and turf special (and my wife had lobster at the adult beach restaurant for lunch that day)

We were just on the 7 night Eastern, and they did not have Lobster Tail on the menu. They did have a dish that had sliced lobster tail meat over pasta, we were very disapointed.
