Lobster at Narcoosee's

I'm going to be dining at Narcoosee's on our upcoming trip in August. I've been thinking about getting the Whole Lobster, but the reviews have been mixed. Can anyone share their opinions, good or bad???

I liked it. I have my review in my TR, but I do have to say that I enjoyed it. It didn't taste rubbery to me like I've read, and it was a decent size. I had plenty to eat!

We went for my Mom's 60th birthday. I had heard a lot about the whole lobster versus the add on lobster tail. We did a little taste test. One ordered the whole lobster and we tasted that along with the tail. The whole lobster was a lot more flavorful than the lobster tail. It was delicious and we are from New England and used to good lobster.

Our lobsters recently at Narcoosee's have been under two pounds and tough. Definitely not worth the $58 price tag -- especially now that there is a surplus of Maine lobsters and grocery stores in the Northeast are pretty much giving them away.

I loved my whole lobster (in one trip we went to Narcoossee's twice and the first time I order the surf and turf and my husband had the whole...I like his better so my husband made ADR the next night so I can get the lobster...it was yummy)...Our last night, we had Narcoossee's as room service (or private dinning) and got my lobster again. So for one trip we had the whole lobster 3 nights. Don't get the surf and turf b/c the lobster is frozen not fresh.

I got the surf & turf and my lobster was great .

I get the whole lobster every time we go to Narcoossee's (which is every WDW trip!). I love that they crack it for you so there is very little work to do. It really was an excellent choice!

I got the Surf & Turf and I couldn't eat my lobster. It had no taste at all, sorry for my bad review.

Maybe it depends on the day, seems like others loved their. I just wouldn't order it again.
