LLMP first time question

We have a trip planned for May 18-27. Our first park day is the 20th. We have established what park we want to start at each day. I have read we should start with our HS day even though it is not the first day. My question is should be book both HS days before we go to the MK days or just do one HS day and then a MK day. There are 8 of us going on this trip. Also we are on the west coast so I believe we need to start booking at 4:00 am PST.

I haven't read that you should start with any specific park. I typically determine which days to visit which park based on historic crowd levels. For example, avoid scheduling MK day on Monday but do go on Wednesday; avoid Epcot on the weekends. You can search for these recommendations from Disney bloggers online. Personally, I'd vary the sequence of parks to keep it interesting. Yes, you'd book at 4 am PST | 7 am EST when your window opens either 7 days in advance for onsite or 3 days in advance offsite guests.

One other note for LLMP, if you're looking to ride a highly popular ride like Tiana or Slinky, you'll have better LL availability later in your trip so have a MK or HS day during the latter half of your trip. Earlier dates may have late LL times or be sold out completely for those rides.
