Hi everyone!

I'm coming across conflicting information online and I'd appreciate some clarification. For offsite guests, when can we purchase and book the Lightning Lane Multi Pass? Is it 3 days before the ticket's start date or 3 days before our first day of visit?

For example, we've bought a 4-day ticket that's valid for 7 days. Our ticket's start date is April 1st, but we're not planning to visit the parks until April 4th, when we'll be heading to Magic Kingdom. In this case, would we be able to purchase and book Lightning Lane Multi Passes for Magic Kingdom at 7 AM ET on March 29th or April 1st?

Thanks in advance!

For standard date-based tickets it is 3 days before the ticket start date. WDW has no way of knowing you won’t be entering a park that date.
Thanks for the clarification!
I believe it's technically possible for Disney to determine which day will be my first day of visit. My idea was that if this is the first Lightning Lane booking for the ticket, this day should be treated as my first day of visit.
On the other hand, if there are already existing Lightning Lane bookings for other days, the system should be able to identify the earliest booking date and consider that as my first day of visit.

Regardless of whether Disney could have done it differently, they chose to let you buy and book LLs three days before your dated-ticket's start date. 7:00 AM on March 29 is when you can buy yours.

Wait so we are coming in March 25th and going to the parks on the 27th and 28th with one special night time ticket. We are staying onsite. Does that mean I can not purchase LLPs until 7 days before the 27th or the date we arrive and check into our hotel?

Your date for LLMP and/or LLSP or LLPP would be March 18, seven days before you on-site stay begins on March 25th.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get these LLMPs? Also Do you prebuy your tickets and then you can add these too them later? I'm trying to see if I can do them at work or not time wise.

You can't buy Lightning Lanes unless you already have tickets or passes linked that are valid for the day you are purchasing them.
