Thanks so much! I was about to come here and search for a free shipping code to buy my dd's backpack.

LeslieG- As you finish putting in your credit card info there is a link on the right side for entering coupons/promos (sorry I can't remember the exact wording) and on that page you can redeem the code and it shows up before you complete the transacation.

Why can I still not find any place to enter this code? I entered my credit card info, and there is nothing I see on the right side of the page to enter it.

Do you have to buy something from the most current fall catalog? The items I'm purchasing are summer items.

Any more detail on where you entered the code would be greatly appreciated, as I'm trying to complete my order now.

I think the field you enter the code is was under "Shipping Code" at the top right hand of screen. I think it did state on the coupon that you had to order from that catalog which all of the backpacks that most people are ordering are in but another person said they ordered sandals which I doubt were in that catalog. You might PM them and ask them how they got it to work.

Can you use the code if you order over the phone? The items I want were in the fall catalog but are backorder so they have taken them off the site. They are telling me I can call in my order. Also when does the code expire?

FYI on the code. I just ordered again yesterday and realized that if you use the code shipping is free but it takes 10-14 days. If you need it in a hurry use the standard delivery for 3.95. That one takes 3-5 days.

To the OP-THANK YOU!!!! dh decided to throw away our Bean catalog yesterday . I could have drivin to the Bean outlet to get our dds' backpacks,but no guarantee they would have had them there in the style they wanted. i ordered over the phone w/3 gift certificates,wouldnt have had enough without the free shipping,so again thank you!

Just want to say thanks for the code. It worked great for me.

Am I missing something with the backpacks? I have 2 boys going into 1st grade. I thought that the backpacks were quite pricy, and are these something you buy every year. Do you get more than one year's use?

Thanks for the code. I ordered my four boys a monogrammed backpack. I agree that it's a bit more than I usually pay for a backpack, but if I get more than one year out of them, them it actually evens out. If I get three years, then it's even cheaper.

Based on people's comments, they seem to have a long life.
