Lizbro`s trip report day 1 mon12th march
Cast – Liz (31) gets a bit obsessed with planning
Stu (36) doesn’t do planning
Mary (9) loves all things Minnie
Ezra (7) all round loony!!
Oscar (5) not sure if he’s peter pan or a pirate?!!

Ok Monday am up at 5.15 am trying to make sure everything is switched off and ready, kids up by 5.45 and last coffee drank by 6.00am, my kind dad has agreed to look after my car for the week and arrives at 6.10 to take us to the station, meet my friends at the station who are travelling the same times as us and they have 2 kids 1 of which is in marys class so immediately kids are hyper! Too early for all of this, we get on the train to discover our booked seats (all 10 of them) are taken by commuters who refuse to move so we stand for the 40 minutes to London, jump in a cab and pay our £10.00 from kings cross to waterloo and then discover my travel agents hand writing is so atrocious that the ticket machine can’t find my tickets ,queue to get them from the desk and eventually get through the scanner machines and head up to the Disney express counter ,here we get our luggage tagged and our tickets for the park and before we know it we’re on the train and off. 2 hrs 50 mins later all that can be heard is Ezra shouting he can see space mountain,we go up to the Disney express desk and deposit our luggage with them, now the original idea was to go off to la valee and sea life on the first day but on walking out through the station doors it was a beautiful day so we all legged it to the gates with a `We’re here!!!!!!!!` And went straight into the park.

First stop as always is peter pan to which we hand in our Disney hotel fast passes and straight on although it was only a 10 min wait anyway then off to Toad hall for nuggets and chips x 5!!We decided to get the all important autograph books as Thomas cook had sent a note with our tickets basically saying ` sorry we have run out of kids packs` and we should have got books with the packs, we just spent most of the next hour walking round taking it all in and went round to frontier land for a run up and down the bridges and through all the caves, we thought we’d ride on the train round the park –we got as far as the next stop and saw the parade waiting on the other side off the gates so we got off and made it round to the side of the castle to watch our first instalment of the parade! By then we knew we could check in so we went through to the Disney hotel and checked in, we found our rooms quite easily although a bit of a trek! We were in 4269 and 4271 –wow the rooms were huge and the larger of the 2 we allocated to the kids as it had the 2 double beds, our luggage appeared and we spent a bit of time getting sorted before going back out to the park which only had about 30 mins left till closing so went round to small world and then went on a trip to the garage behind santa fe to get some supplies like milk as although we were staying in the dlh we couldn`t afford their prices on coffee from room service so brought our own kettle (when we asked for the mini bar to be emptied so we could use it for milk we were told that wasn`t allowed it would stay locked)the walk to the garage was about 25 mins and was nice to nose at the other hotels on the way
