Hi

I had a call from my floral planner yesterday and now I am so confused!:confused3

Has anyone got any photos of their reception at the Living Seas so that I am able to see the layout and also what the table look like once they are dressed.

Is it quite dark in there?

Thanks

I have some photos from my site visit. they aren't the greatest. I let DFi use the camera. I thought it was a little dark, but not too bad. It's a long room with a bunch of 6 top tables

Sadly this is the best picture I have of the tables. We didn't use flash in the photo. The color is supposed to look navy blue, but I think I remember you can swich them out for white.

We both LOVED this location. There are good parts and bad parts to this location though.

I think its quite dark - after being in the whitehall room and napa room on the site visit before seeing this location, i defo thought it was dark.

I also know that you are not allowed to move the tables around in this venue - i said can we get rid of tables and our coordinator told us no (we were having a party of like 30-40 and we didnt want empty tables) but they cannot be removed. However, you are allowed to choose how many seats you want per table i think.

I think its such an unusual place to have a reception - in a good way!

Here are a few photos: not very good photos because i couldnt work out how to use my camera settings to take good photos! oops! they are undressed tables but just thought i'd show you.

I absolutely loved our location!! The lighting is just right in my opinion with that romantic not too bright kinda setting not to mention the gorgeous tanks all around you!!! If you go to www.chapmanphotography.com and then search for our pictures under Tricia and Chris we have a ton that Randy took just this past July!! HTH!

A tip I took from another bride for our reception was to request to have the lights up a little during the reception and this worked out perfectly. Of course, we didn't really do much dancing or anything so it didn't matter to us if the lights were brighter.

Here are a few shots with the lights up higher
