Has anyone heard about the renovations to the Living Seas? I noticed it was closed around the first of the year and it is now open again, minus the hydrolators. I spoke with a CM and she didn't know what they were doing to the other part of the building. I always thought they were cheezy but I definitely think there is potential for something pretty cool there!

I am not sure how accurate this is, but I heard they gutted the theater and extended the seacab track slightly, supposedly to start the ride off with a Nemo-themed dark ride-type scene.

It always makes me wonder if people used to believe the hydrolators actually went somewhere and now they have caught on...or it's just due to time savings for park guests

Good, cuz they made my ears pop they went down so fast.LOL. A women actually tried to sue because she said they did damage to her ears. They had to bring the jury there to show them that they dont move.

When we were there last July the Sea cab potion was not in operation. I was wondering when the full renovations will be complete and what the final product will look like. I will say that Turtle Talk With Crush is realy good.

The hydrolators are gone for good.
The new Nemo dark ride will open in October or November and it will, as noted above, use an extended ride track from the old seacabs.
The entire entrance will be redone and the old intro movie removed as well. Should be quite nice. What everyone is waiting to see is whether any of the new show effects for the Nemo ride are going to be a preview of what's to come for the sub ride redo in Disneyland.

The hydrolators are gone since you go in the exit now. They are still working on the other part of the building so who knows exactly how that will be.

Yes I have seen many many people that truly believed that you really descended to the bottom.
