Living rooms size VWL vs SSR

Next week (wow that feels good to say) we will have our first stay at a DVC resort. We have a 1bdr at VWL. In Dec 2007 we will be using our newly purchased points (yippie!!) for a trip with my DM & DD. We are debating between a 2 bdr & GV for our Dec 2007 trip. We are hoping that seeing the size of the living room/kitchen in person will help us determine if a 2 bdr is big enough or if we need the GV.

All of the above rambling for the following question.....are the living room/kitchen the same size for the 1 and 2 bdr at VWL and SSR or is SSR slightly smaller? It's hard to tell by the pictures.

Living rooms and kitchens are similar in size at BWV, VWL, BCV and SSR. GVs at any DVC resort will be much larger. They are larger at OKW, VB and HH.
