Living in FL?

I have been thinking for literally years about moving to FL and possibly working at Disney...but 1st things 1st. Does anyone live in the Disney area? Do you like it? Do you like living in FL in general? I have been in love since my 1st vacation to Naples, my brother lives in Miami, but I would be looking in the Orlando area. How are jobs there? Hard to find? Pay well?

Too ironic...had to subscribe. We are also the Clarks, family of 5 and we have looked into moving to Florida for the last 3 years. We are now considering Orlando and I would love to work at Disney also. next June I will have a masters degree and was wondering about jobs also. Oh yeah, my brother also lives in Florida...Port St Lucie. Too man coincidences to pass this one up. Sorry to hijack your post...but I promise I'll just read the replies...LOL

In the same boat! we've been considering moving to FL, but may have to wait till our Son is out of school. BTW there is a blog called the relocated tourist that chronicles a family's move from Wisconsin to central Florida. It may give you the information you seek.....

Me, my fiance, my sister, my brother-in-law and my 7 yr old nephew are all moving to FL later on this year around the Orlando area. 1 of my aunts and uncles are moving to FL this month as well to Ocala, FL. All of us can't wait. I've always wanted to move to FL my entire life and now it's finally going to happen. I to wouldn't mind working at Disney, but I actually work from home having my own business so I don't know if I will try to get a job in Disney or not. Perhaps part time. First things first though as soon as we get down there, purchasing FL Annual Passes for Disney and probably Universal as well.
