Anybody have any fun/interesting/weird/pretty live webcams they like to check out?

Our news station just posted one from Miami's South Beach and it made me curious what other fun ones are out there.

I have one, it is not on 24/7 but they have webcast.
It is www.realnegril.com
On fridays at noon they broadcast from the Beach in Negril Jamaica. They have very good resolution, is that what it is called clear images, on their broadcast. They have live music too. You have to check out the schedule on ther homepage, they broadcast every day but Monday. I am guilty of having it on while working.

I also check out the swan dolphin web cam.

There are a few around Oahu.

This one is on Waikiki Beach in front of the statue of Duke Kahanamoku

This one is at Kuhio beach.

They have a few others that are "traffic hot spots" but compared to Chicago traffic, those are nothing. ;)

I wish that we had know about the ones on the beach before our trip. It would have been fun to wave to family and friends at home.

Now, I look at the when I'm tired of looking at the piles of snow outside my windows.;)

Thanks! Will check those out.

I remember seeing a haunted house one once. That was pretty cool.

I know I could google it, but I tried and a virus warning popped up on one.

I have a few webcams on our kittens and cat. :)

Sorry; they're private. ;)

We recently stayed at the Tradewinds Resort on St. Pete Beach in Florida, and they have a live web-cam. You can see a hammock, several walkways to the beach, and a view of the beach.

Before we took our vacation to Oahu (about five years ago) we spent time watching people in front of the web-cam on Waikiki Beach. There are usually quite a few people around that area and it was quite entertaining! When we finally arrived there ourselves, our younger daughter wouldn't go anywhere near the web-cam.:rotfl:

There used to be one at the Nickelodeon Hotel, but I don't know if it's still there or not. My niece told her friends what time to watch for her, and she made sure to be there then to wave to them.

My favorite is the Crossing at Abbey Road, made famous by the Beatles Abbey road album cover. It's scary to watch the tourists crossing this busy street and trying to stop and get their picture taken just like the Beatles did.

For a whole bunch of webcams try these sites. Be careful because there are a few cameras on these sites that are not appropriate for children, but they are clearly marked so you can avoid on accidently clicking on them.

The Tampa Electric power station at Apollo Beach attracts hundreds of manatees to its warm water discharge. Not only is it a great place to visit in the winter but they have two live webcams that you can remotely control.

And, yes, we have waved at the camera to our kids back in the UK!
