crowds are pretty heavy. Wanted to go to mk today but we have a dog and both mk and epcot kennels are full so we cant do mk tonight since his kennel closes at 9.

Midway mania: 60 mins standby. Fp's were gone by 1pm.

Weather: phenominal

dining: completely booked nearly all over wdw property. No walkins have been allowed whenever ive asked. Though the new dining deal is good for those on it, for those of us not, getting a sit down meal is nearly impossible.

Shows: on normal days i love wishes over illuminations ans fantasmic! However for holiday additions i think the holiday tag on illuminations is better than holiday wishes IMHO.

It is odd but on a saturday dhs closes at 8:00 while parks are crowded and mk is open until 1:00 am.

Counter service locations now have nuggets over tenders and imho they're not as good. However the 1/2 breast rotissere chicken at cosmic rays is really good.

Imho the block party at dhs blows away the standard parades.

what's the weather like? i saw you wrote phenomenal, but i'm leaving tuesday and am trying to figure out what to bring! shorts, tank, t-shirts, capris, jeans, sweatshirts? lol i have no idea! glad you're having fun! i can't wait to get there!!!!

We know someone who is at Disney now and said the weather is all over the place. They arrived in 80 degree weather to have it be in the 60s the next day. They packed shorts and short-sleeve shirts and had to actually go out and buy pants/sweatshirts. Also said it poured one day. You might be wise to pack shorts/shirts but also pack some jeans and a sweatshirt and the ponchos.

The weather should be less schizophrenic this week. low to mid-80s Sunday and Monday and then highs in the 70s, lows in the upper 50s or so. Doesn't look like much in the way of rain predicted, either.

And, yeah, it really bugs the heck out of me that DHS closes so early. Only gives a couple of hours of nighttime viewing of lights and decorations (and pointless for me to make an effort to get there during the week as it would be near 7pm by the time I could get there)

MK open to 1am tonight was great. It was crowded all the way through 12:30, at least, when my DD and I made our way for Main St for some ice cream before we left.
