My 20 year old DS and I are here now so I will start a report and update. We are at Contemporary Resort a Theme Park View. We arrived Sunday, 8/6 about 330pm from Indiana. We didn't get room ready text so we went to the front desk. Our CM was very friendly. They'd put us in a room with a king bed but quickly gave us a room with 2 queens. On 11th floor north end with fantastic views of park. It is so quiet.
We have 5 day hopper tickets so we walked to MK. It was a quick easy walk. Loved security prior to the masses outside the parks. I'd done DVC phone presentation so we stopped at kiosk and got our 3 anytime FP. The guy at DVC said we could both do presentation on Monday and for an hour of our time would each get 3 more FP plus $100 gift card each! More on that later.
While at MK Sunday between 5-945 pm we rode Space Mountain, Dumbo, Tea cups, Ariel, HM, BTMRR, POTC, Splash Mountain, Jungle Cruise and Aladdin Magic Carpet. We ate dinner at Tomorrowland Terrace. We walked onto Jungle Cruise and saw fireworks finale while on Magic Carpet. Walked back to hotel.
Monday went to Epcot. Took monorail to TTC then switched to Epcot monorail. There were 11 of us on it about 815 AM! Walked to TT when park opened and were one of first 30 on- then rode in single rider line - ended up on same car. Were done by 930AM. Went over and used DVC FP on Soarin which was fun. Walked around and did coke samples and had brats in Germany. Went over to rode Frozen but it was down- went back later with that FP...
