Live Trip Report! 7 days in Disney World!

Afternoon tea at grand Floridian is lovely! I've never visited this resort, very beautiful! Can see why people like it so much.

We've had the Princess Kate tea which comes with a glass of verve, choice of tea, and for courses!

Potted shrimp or chicken livers we had one each!
Cheese board!
Scones & jam tart!
Homemade pastries or trifle! We've both chosen the pastries though as the trifle choice was spiced pumpkin!



We've had Darjeeling tea and mad hatters tea! Both very nice, and at $45pp I thought it was reasonable for disney!

Thank you! Maybe we will! Although our friends are there now and say it is packed so hopefully it will die down later for EMH!

it will probably get worse for EMH....
people will come piling in and you'll have to move via the behind the scenes area...
but after wishes it will die down as the families with kidlets leave..

Yeah that's what we're hoping for. EMH is 11-1am so hopefully it'll be nice and quiet then! Xx

We did the Afternoon tea 4 years ago when you could buy everything separately off menu rather than a set menu. I was going to book again this year for our Silver wedding but I read they only did the set menus now.

We paid $38 for 3 of us plus 20% tip, although I really enjoyed our visit it wouldn't be worth $45pp to me.

yikes!!
i haven't heard from DD as to whether they went to MK or not last night.
I know she had FPs for MK in the evening, but i don't know if they went after their 'fun day'.
They went bicycling yesterday at their resort and then headed over to DTD for lunch at Earl's
They sent a picture on whatsapp - the line for Earl of Sandwich was out the door and almost to the next building!!!!...
after earl, they went to a movie (hero 6 or whatever that's called)...
i don't know what they did after that..

i'm editing this - i just looked in whatsapp - they have pictures of themselves waiting for the parade to start, holding starbucks in their hands! and you can see the castle in the background all lit up...

It was bang on 30 mins, I actually thought the same that it would be much less at that time. More like 10-15mins but it wasn't. We didn't leave the park until 1.40am by the time we'd ridden and slowly strolled out!


Just walked over to ASMovies food court as Music's food court is closed for refurb, for a breakfast bounty platter, my first Mickey Waffle! Yay!



The sun is out & it's a lovely warm day! Heading to DHS for 1pm as our first FP is for TSM, plan to stay there until closing at 10pm (EMH 8-10pm)!

Oh yeah, when we got to MK at 6pm it was really crowded but our friends who had been there since 2pm said it was even worse earlier on!

Once wishes had finished at 10pm crowds died down, then EMH was manageable. Only thing with a wait was 7 dwarves & meet A&E!

Can't beat Mickey waffles can you!

Just in Hollywood studios, stopped into prime time cafe for a little cocktail, a sit down & some AC! Today is hot!

Had a fantastic experience with the 50's dressed up guys offering 'free advice!' I'll try and get the video uploaded to YouTube and post a link!i asked for advice on how to get my fiancé to have a Disneyworld wedding! They were brilliant & hilarious!!

Sounds great! Thank God for layers though, the weather doesnt seem to be able to make up its mind lol. The afternoon tea looks lovely, I'd love to do that on a future trip, without the kids though lol.

Pit stop for a frozen raspberry rum lemonade in the sun in Dinoland! Delicious!

Having a great time 6 hours sleep seems to be fine in disney but not at home when I need to get up for work! Haha!

Talking of tipples, just popped into tune inn lounge for a Grandmas Picnic Punch with a glow ice cube!



We've just been to see fantasmic and it was PACKED. They had so many people with FP+ there was only 3 sections for 'regular' guests! I.e no FP or dining package! I really don't think that's a fair ratio so very glades got there at 5.45pm ready for 6.30pm we just got a seat in the last 'witch' section!

Just waiting for EMH until 10pm tonight

Oh it's definitely a trip without kids, I'd highly recommend the champagne one!

Thank you it's just from primark! It's one of my favs and I only got it a few months ago so it might still be in stock!

Well went to Magic Kingdom this morning with another friend who's driven up from Miami! We had all 3 mountains done by lunchtime!

Stopped off at the Main Street bakery for some much needed caffeine & huge cupcake! 2 snack credits used! But we still have 7 left and 16 QS meals to use by Thursday! :/



He's never been to disney so we're trying to get all the headliners done (well most of them!) we're just in DHS but the heavens have opened! It's very wet today but we've risen TOT twice, we thought the second time would be a 10min wait like the first but then it broke down so we were stuck in the q for 60mins!

Now in the Q for RnR which has a 60min wait but it seems to be moving much faster!

It's due to rain for the ray of the day, but it's so humid it's still really warm despite being a bit wet!

Got my rain Mac today!

Yeah it's really wet & grey. We've stopped in ABC com for some lunch and on our way here seems a lot of people were heading towards the exit as the rain isn't letting up!

We're not bothered though about the weather! X
