Hello everyone! I did a TR last year at Halloween and thought I would do the same this time! Hopefully I get left on this board, I may be bumped over but I will be giving a ton of detail on the parks so hopefully I'm kept here! If you read my TR from last year, this is what you will get. (Hopefully).

1.No complaining. I can't stand whiners. If you want to know about all of the crazed ECV drivers with road rage or about South American groups that are energetic, stop reading. If you want to know what is NOT right in Orlando or what magic IS NOT at the parks STOP READING. Please follow the "I just spent a ton of $ but I'm going to complain about life even though I'm on vacation in a bad economy" thread..... :) Sorry guys, but we dont feel sorry for you....

2. An incredibaly long winded TR filled with spelling errors (not kidding) and tons of details.

if you can handle those two, we can be buds the next week!
I will try and answer any questions as well. Haven't done much yet, but here is the start of it...

Left Oregon at 6:30 am (15 degrees out) had a connection in Seattle, and straight thru to Orlando. Seemless flights, probably the best cross country we have ever had. Not kidding, no bumps AT ALL! Arrived at 5pm local time to 83 degrees. wow. Airport was empty and I was kind of surprised. No waits for luggage or rental car, which we got at the kiosk fast serve at Alamo.

We rented a house at Windsor Hills this time, we stayed at the Poly last year which was of course amazing and so special, so I will be able to give a good "onsite vs. offsite" fight as well. We got a 6 bedroom with its own pool. AMAZING. This place is spotless and we all agree we would live in this house in a heartbeat. Super clean, modern...wow. I'm traveling with my parents, my hubby, sis and her boyfriend her 2 kids (15yo girl, 12 yo boy) my kids (15 yo boy, 8 yo girl). 10 of us.... whew. This should be interesting! Everyone else but my 4 have NEVER been here.

Today is supposed to be 80's and possible thunderstorm in PM. Going to Universal today. I will report back this evening with details....lots. A quick thank you to all of you that have answered all of my stupid questions the past 9 months.... A special thanks to a "wanda in Nova Scotia" that saved me in the nick of time late last night when I needed directions to WHills from MCO. GOT TO LOVE THE DIS! You guys all rock.

More to come!

Have a great day at Universal! Hopefully the weather stays as it has been. I love the warm temperature. :)

I'm going to move this over to our trip report board.

ok got up early and went to UNiversal at 9am. NO ONE at the park. Did Islands first and then went to Studios at 1pm. We finished islands by 12:30. I was blown away! We did Hulk 2x, Dueling Dragons 3x, and all the big rides. It was just empty. The longest we waited the entire day was 10 minutes for men in black. All others were walk on. Dueling Dragons we got off and they were asking people if they wanted to ride again and loop back in at the very end with no wait.

Rip ride was down all day by the way, not sure what was going on. Also, pretty much every food cart, restaurant was closed. Very few food choices, so we ate at City walk. Left the parks at 4:00pm and did it all!! We bought the 1 week unlimited ticket and decided we did everything and more we wanted so I dont even think we need to go back. A bit of a waste on money, but who knew if would be walk on rides all day!

We are beat and will just relax at our house in the pool tonight! On to EPCOT tomorrow morning! If you have any questions, ask away!

Sounds nice, having the park all to yourself. :)

Have a good day at EPCOT! You should definitely try to check out Sum of All Thrills and tell us about it. I went with my friends last weekend, but Innovations was closed when we got there (closed at 7PM, we arrived around 7:10).

Did Epcot today and it rained all day.... but all is well. Had a great time and did all the rides and saw pretty much everything. More coming after I eat! Ask questions if you have them!

Looking forward to your trip report! We are leaving Sunday, so a bit curious about weather and crowds. Thanks for filling us in :)

Weather yesterday (thursday) was about a high of 62 and rainy and windy.... but the day before was 80... that's how much it changes! At this point I'm not even planning what to wear until I wake up in the morning and check the forecast! Today is supposed to be the same, low 60's and a good chance of rain all day. I'm guessing the carriage ride will not happen tonight....here's hoping! By the way only 1 pop warner football team the whole day yesterday at Epcot. No cheerleaders.

Today is a "down" day with going around to all the hotels and DTD. I will post in later about the decorations and crowds at DTD as well!!! No matter what the weather it beats sitting at home "dreaming" about being here!
