The movie 'Annapolis' which was scheduled to shoot in Maryland (and in the actual Annapolis area) pulled out of that location a week or two before production was supposed to start when PA passed those yummy tax incentives.
So 'Annapolis' was filmed in Philly.

I seem to remember from when I studied up on this that tax incentives for film productions have an incredible economic return - something like 10x? - to the area (whether it is states/cities/etc.).

Does anybody know if construction has actually started?

This is good news for the Mid-Atlantic film community, perhaps bad news for Canada as well as for Wilmington NC (where "Dawson's Creek" + "One Tree Hill" + many other films/TV shows have been filmed).

No problem. All my mom friends have been passing that list around- we are so excited for it too. The best part is never having to drive to KOP again - well I work PT in the mall so I may have to look for something new that is closer. Should be plenty to choose from.

Hey--There is good news for us up here in The Boonies as well

Lehigh Valley Mall just put in and Apple Store, Pottery Barn, William and Sonoma, Ann Taylor/Loft, Sephora, Barnes and Nobles, and more.

We are also getting a BoneFish Grill
