Did they say when the renovations would be done?

So glad you're enjoying the WLV. I'll be there in 42 days but who's counting. It is also my home resort and like the other post said - I LOVE THE WILDERNESS LODGE. Oh and the cupcakes at Roaring Forks-yummo. I actually waited to get my lunch when I was using the DDP for a counterservice meal/snack until they loaded the dessert case with those white frosted yellow cake beauties. Just so scrumptous and boy do they hit the spot. Wish I was there eating one now and hoping the pull out in whatever room I'm suppose to get is changed out by the time I get there.

Has anyone been keeping track of what floors have been renovated (with the new carpet and pull-out couches, etc.) thus far at the VWL? I read on the groupies thread that the fifth floor is done, and this thread notes that they are busy working on the second floor now. Can anyone else attest to the completion of other floors? Do you think they started at the top, and are working their way down? I"m hoping they'll be all done 'till we arrive in early December.

Just got back on Monday evening. The second floor was in renovation. Even had people working on Sunday and the Monday holiday. First time at the F&W festival and loved it! I also thought it was quite crowded but since we have never been in October, don't really know if the crowds were unusually large. Also did the MNSSHP for the first time. DD (16 1/2) loved it! She dressed up as a witch. We walked onto all the rides. DH was very pleasantly surprised. It was also quite HOT! I miss it already!

FWIW, the current Disney Files magazine says the renovations are expected to be completed in mid-November.
