Our trip is for 6 nights.Which is just right for us at VB.We also broke it up in the middle with a trip to West Palm Beach for the day. We will do the parks at x-mas time when we go to OKW for 3-4 days.

Our grandson(20 months) loved going down the big slide(by himself) at the main pool.He hardly even went in the Pirate ship play area for little kids.

OK. I'm officially excited now. Heading to West Palm tomorrow morning, a day and a half with the in-laws, and off to Vero. Thanks for the report and the reassurance about the cool breeze. I forget who had asked (on a previous thread) but I will be checking out the Tides of Vero ( www.tidesofvero.com ) and will report back. It looks to be an outstanding restaurant.

Did you swim or go into the ocean at all? Are other people in the ocean water? It was too rough when we went in March, we're going in May next year.

Yes we did go in the ocean on 2 of the days.The water wasn't rough at all. The beach was pretty crowded and they had all the umbrellas rented out also.

Overall it was a great trip with no complaints. The CM's were excellent as usual at VB. We took I-95 back to MCO and it took 1 and 1/2 hours. Flight left on time also.

Thanks for the GREAT post about your VERO experience!~For the 6th consecutive summer, we have added DVB to our vacation intinerary. We'll be in a 1BR Villa for 10 eves, and look forward to every moment. We'll be at the Peabody first (CL), then the PBH (AP's for US/IOA) for a week in our villa suite...before arriving at VERO! After our relaxing stay at DVB...we head down to the Key West area, (little palm island/Torch Key) for 4 eves on this exclusive enclave before ending the stay with about 5+ more weeks @ the WDW Dolphin (E. Suite w/PAP's). We also rent a vehicle for the transitory period of our trip (Lincoln Navigator), before settling at WDW property. The Dolphin has a National Car rental counter in the lobby, so we merely rent a vehicle if we wish to visit Sea World, etc., or travel to the coast again (which we always do!).

The underground Parking at Vero is wonderful. It's especially nice when there is a lightening storm passing through, and you are able to avoid danger/getting soaked. We also enjoy using the convenient elevators to access the garage/villas. It is a very well-planned and constructed resort. We are not DVC members, but still contemplate joining!

Thanks again....we'll be THERE in the blink of an eye!!
