Hi All
Posting live from the Magic!! What a great cruise so far. The cruise is fully booked, but you would never know it (except for shows and dinner).
The weather is less than perfect (cold weather at the port, cloudy, some rain) but there is no lack of stuff to do. The cast is great and they have changed some activities to more suitable for inside versus outside.
I want to say how great the staff has been so far - and in particular the maintenance staff. We had two 'minor' things wrong with our cabin when we got on (plexiglass on verandah rattled and door handle was loose). A maintenance worker was up in a matter of minutes and fixed everything perfectly. I want to remind everyone that if you find something wrong with your cabin - report it right away. They really do want you to have a great cruise and are willing to fix any problem - no mater how small it might be.
To answer the burning question - we have not seen or heard of anyone getting sick on the cruise so far. There are some changes from our last cruise that are obviously for health concerns (sanitary wipes given out before dinner, buffets now have people putting the food on your plate, signs eveywhere telling you 'how to wash you hands'). I really appreciate them going to the extra mile to keep us healthy and to have a wonderful cruise!!
We're getting ready to watch the Superbowl now - and try to win some prizes.
John
