Well, here we are. After all the months of planning, we're cruising. We had our little meet on deck 10 and it went off really well. The weather is beautiful and we were told tonight and the Welcome Aboard Variety Show that we will be seeing the premier of Pirates of the Caribbean!!.

The show was excellent. Dan Riley is here again. We've seen him twice before. He did a hilarious rendition the theme song from Gilligans Island to the tune of Stairway to Heaven. The intro act was someone I hadn't seen before - Bruck Block, an illusionist. The funniest thing abou t him was his rabbit who introduced him :) Jim is back as cruise director. We've sailed with him all four times. Anyway, we have to rush off to Dueling Pianos. I'll report back on and off during the cruise.

Btw, interestingly, we got APLAPLA even though we have older kids. Go figure.

Looking forward to reading your live from the Magic reports. Attached is a photo of the Magic in port today. If you would like the photos I captured as the Magic sailed by Two Palms let me know and I will e-mail them to your home computer.

Sandy,

I saw on your cruise list that you are having Palo Brunch on Monday and that Amy(luv2boys)and DH (Jesse) are scheduled to be there. If you remember, could you please tell Amy and Jesse that Verandah Man said hello, and that I was able to capture the Magic as they requested, and that I e-mailed them a mini movie of the Magic sailing away on Saturday.

Thanks so much!!!

Have a great time! I love reading live reports. We had Jim as our cruise director on our first cruise. Glad to hear he's back on the Magic.

Amy and Jesse are at the table next to ours, so I'll relay the message. I'd like a copy of it to, if you don't mind. My email is canetti@optonline.net. Looks like the cam caught our side of the ship. We're on deck 6, the third veranda room from the stern.

Today is Key West and we'll be doing the trolley tour. In 3o minutes, we'll be going to a DVC get together. Btw, my kids were NOT HAPPY about having to wake up for the character breakfast this morning :)

One thing I forgot to mention last night is that we saw our server from our last crew, Zoran, who has the group of tables next to ours. While we're sorry we didn't get him again, we went one better - we got his wife, Andrea! Talk to you all later.

Photos have been sent to your e-mail address Sandy. Have a MAGICal Cruise!!!

Sandy,
I would love to hear your up dates. We are going on our FIRST Disney cruise in Feb. and I can't wait. Hearing you all are having a GREAT time helps me get even more excited!!! Joni :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Thank you so much for your live postings. Can't wait to hear your updates.

Oh, you are so luck...we leave on the magic/western in 9 1/2 weeks...we can hardly wait!

Can't wait to hear your trip reports!

I'm posting while waiting for the 10:30 cabaret show. The weather has been great so far. We ate lunch at the Hogs Breath Saloon and took the Trolley Tour. I like the trolley better, since you can get off an on. Just one thing, you have to catch the last trolley back by 4:30, since they stop at 10:30.

Tonight was Parrot Cay and had I thought about it, I would have scheduled the sunset cruise. I originally thought we'd have LAPLAPL, so we didn't want to miss AP, but this was the one menu I least cared about. Although, I have to admit, Judy and the kids had the grouper and I had the mixed grill, which were quite good. Tomorrow night is formal night, so I am happy we'll be in Lumiere's.

Tomorrow, we are having brunch with a bunch of Disers.

If anyone wants to know anything specific, ask away.

Thanks for the pics, Andy.

You're welcome about the pics, sitting here watching the Magic leave Key West, sorry wasn't able to capture any pics off the Key West cam, I haven't figured out how to capture pics on that cam yet.

OH...OH...OH...
Did you by any chance see Fidelio at Dueling Piano's  ????

Was the Trolley Tour at Key West worth it  ????

Can you see if you can confirm changes to Magic in dry dock????

Thanks for the LIVE report, I love to read them.

We did too this last time with a teenager & 2 adults. Maybe they've changed their strategy to throw off the Dis'ers who think they've figured it out?

:smooth:

You all seem to be really enjoying yourselves, and that's what it's all about. I was thinking how much fun it will be to be in Parrot Cay for the tropical night. Which night of the trip is that? What rotation would we need to ensure we would be there on tropical night? Thank you in advance.

I just signed in and was curious which one of the fan club members would be the first to ask. :D

Thanks for the live reports - they seem to bring me that much closer to being there. As much as I like them thought I can't imagine having time to do them. I wouldn't know what to skip for computer time.

Have fun!!

Sory, no Fidelio. The duelling pianists are Anton and Tommy.

I thought so. The only thing I would have done differently would have been to start the tour earlier, so we could get off and back on more often.

I just came back from the Navigator series The Making of the Disney Magic and asked that very question. While I didn't get any direct answers, they did say that they would be recongiruing some staterooms.

Thanks for the LIVE report, I love to read them.

My pleasure. I know I loved reading other people's live reports, so I was happy to return the favor.

Wednesday is Tropicali night and we will be in Parrot Cay for it. You would need to have a APLAPLA rotation.

Btw, 10 of us had brunch today at Palos and got the private room. You would think we've known each other for years they way we all got along. There is something about people who love Disney that transends all socialogical, and geographical barriers.
