Hello, just wanted to get in a quick post before tonight's Fourth of July activities. There's going to be a huge party on the 9th deck at 9:45 and I can hear the band practicing now. Mickey, Minnie and Goofy were decked out in their patriotic gear earlier for pictures and there's just a lot of Red, White and Blue around here right now.
So far, the cruise has been great. The online reservations worked wonderfully - everything was correct and ready for us, which made embarkation a breeze.
DD loves the Club and has a made a ton of friends. DS seems to be doing well - he's so off schedule, though. I may never get him back on. But, it's worth it to be here in paradise.
I do notice some differences in being on the Wonder vs. the Magic. I'll detail those in my trip report.
As for the standard questions, they are showing (from memory), Ice Princess, Pooh's Heffalump Movie, Incredibles, the Pacifier, something with Love in the title and they're Pre-mearing (or have already), Herbie Fully Loaded. I think there's one or two other movies, but nothing that sticks out as huge.
Weather has been great and the seas have been calm. Our cruise thread was pretty dead, so there was no meet and I haven't met another DISser on board.
Nassau was nice. Glad I went to see it, but probably don't need to again. We just shopped a bit. No one really bothered us, though DH thought a couple of guys were scoping him out to pickpocket him. Not sure if that was true.
Okay, gotta go pick DD up from the club and meet DH at the spa so we can see the fireworks extravaganza.
