Okay, I can't see another thread for this cruise so here goes.

I am now in the Cove Cafe enjoying a liquer coffee and a cookie. Not that I need any more food as we had a superb dinner at Lumieres.

We had a great Dismeet at Sailaway. Met up with loads of other Diser's and we really seem to have a great group this week.

I will be happy to answer any questions about what is happening on board so feel free to ask and I'll try to get the answer for you.

We have Halloween tomorrow and formal night has been moved to Monday so we get to wear costumes and formal dress.

Another coffee is calling me but I will check in again tomorrow.

Karen

Have a BOO-tiful Cruise!!!

Thanks, Karen, for starting the thread. I love reading "live" reports from the ship.

If you run into a fellow DIS-er, "LyndaSylk" this week, please say "Hi" to her from her Canadian DIS friends. I hope you all have a terrific week!

Arlene

KAREN: Give my best to Emma. I miss our chats.

What did she and the boys decide to do about Halloween costumes?

Any repeat Halloween Cruisers besides Ginger? Say HI to her for me.

Hope that you have a great Halloween tomorrow! Should be a great time on board. If you are able, could you find out if Rudy from South Africa is on board? He was our server last 11/15 and we are hoping to be able to request him on the 12/4 cruise. Thanks!

Let us know how the weather and water is when you get to St. Thomas.
I hope the dis T&T goes well.

Good morning from the Magic. I'm sitting in the Cove enjoying a few minutes of beautiful peace and quiet. We have a beautiful day for Halloween. This is out 3rd cruise during the NJ week and these are the calmest seas we've ever had. We have the most amazing servers, Silvio and Leasa and a great room steward Don. We are lucky enough to have a cat. 3 midship this time around and we are amazed about the size and all the special treatment. We weren't able to make the dismeet but have met a couple fellow Disers along the way including families from our town. What a small world to have people from your town on the ship with you and then to also be placed in the table next to them at dinner.

I will bring home copies of all the Navigators for Dave and have also been able to get a couple of all the new kids menus. I will check to see if I can get any copies of dinner menus if they are different than what is posted.

Off to Art of Entertaining.

Wishing all you Halloween cruisers lots of sunshine and smooth seas. Enjoy your time with your families and make lots of special memories.

Thanks so much for the live reports. Cannot wait to hear about tonight. Can you please tell me if they are still charging for yoga, pilates, etc. I read somewhere that they were not. But I haven't found a recent navigator to find out for myself.
Thanks
Staci

Love the live reports! Hope you enjoy lots of "treats" today!

Hey Karen!

I am so jealous you are there! I can't believe it has been a year already!

Have yourself a wonderful cruise! Enjoy every moment and visit the spa as much as possible!

Be careful in that Cove Cafe!!

Karen

We too are on the cruise. I have not met anyone as of yet. We just had Brunch in Palos and I highly recommend it. We are planning on going to high tea at 3 today.

The weather is in the mid 80's and overcast. It was windy on thetop deck. The seas have been a little rough, but not too bad.

They are real flu conscious. It is nice to see the wipes as you enter the resturaunt. They are constantly wiping the railings and the elevator buttons.

There are alot of events planned for tonight. Was glad to see they moved the formal night to Monday.

Oh the castaway club gift was a towel and pins (same as before)

How's the noise in your cabin? We're going to be in 8034 (cat. 3 midship) for our December cruise and are wondering how much you hear from the deck above. I'd love to know more about the "special treatment".

Thanks for posting and enjoy your cruise!:sunny:

What are they doing special for halloween? Will there be any trick or treating on board?

Kelli

Hello again! We had a great Dis Trick or Treat this morning. You have no idea how big this ship is till you dash round 5 decks looking for staterooms! The kids all got loads of candy and had a great time.

The DCL trick or treat is at 5pm.

Lunch was an Italian buffet - freshly cooked pasta with sauces and veggies etc. Superb.

Not sure baout all the movies yet but there is definitely Haunted Mansion, The Village, Raising Helen and Princess Diaries 2. I will let you know more as the week goes by.

I have seen Lynda Silk a few times so will pass on hellos.

I will try to find out if Rudy is still on board - will ask our server tonight.

Karen, Miguel is no longer on board so the Cove Cafe should be safer place to be!

I hope I didn't miss any questions. Will keep checking in through the week - so far the weather is beautiful. Fingers crossed for the rest of the time.

Karen

I Also heard That Miguel Got married...

Lol

We found out Miguel has a four year old girl - (probably 5 now) - He was so nice to us in the Cove Cafe - They didn't have a particular champagne that I asked for - He said "I'll get it for you" - I told him not to bother, it was OK, I would just drink something else - He didn't listen to me - He left, went up to Palo, got what I wanted and brought it back - I couldn't believe it - He was very nice and had so many people laughing and enjoying themselves!
