This is a really nice resort, among our favorites now. Painting exterior rooms by the Grotto pool so scaffolding is up, workmen out during the day - if that would bother you you may want to ask about it at check in. We have a ground floor room overlooking Grotto pool with a distant view of ToT so it's not bothering us too much (however a worker spit off the scaffolding this morning while we were out on our patio having coffee this morning, LOL, kind of gross)!

Lots of conventioners but pools are not too crowded. Tubbi's and pools are open 24 hrs which is great. Starbucks coffee available in the morning at the Spa! The Heavenly beds are terrific!!

Went to MNSSHP last night and had a ball - this was a surprise trip for our twins so they had a really great time. Best fireworks we've ever seen! Crowded but walked on most rides - longest wait was for Indy Speedway but kids drove cars by themselves for the first time so we waited a couple of times for that. A fair amount of people in costumes, some pretty funny.

Tip: Keep kids' costumes simple and light!! Our own kids kept taking their hats and other props off which was kind of a pain for pictures. Also, it was very warm in the parks, even at midnight, so light dressing would be best.

Good to hear you're having fun and enjoying the Dolphin.

Just note, it is supposed to cool down next week so the heat will only be for a few more days. Then it will be more seasonal and feel like Halloween! ENJOY!
