I do love this hotel you get spoiled with being so close to the Magic Kingdom which is my favorite. Last night after we got back from hoop dee doo we walked over to Magic Kingdom while the fireworks were going off. It is a short walk not bad at all. 
It was pretty hot glad we were there early.
Thanks for the update and I will cross my fingers for you that the rain will stop.Last night we took the boat to Fort Wilderness for the Hoop Dee Doo Dinner Show and it was just as good as the past two times we have seen it. I love being able to take the boat especially at night on our way back we saw the electric parade
Today we went to Epcot and was there for the rope drop ran and got fast pass for Soarin and my family rode Test track. Walked the countries and had fish and chips yum
If you stay here at the Contemporary they have a coffee bar in the Lobby with pretty good coffee. I do love a good cup and this is one of the best that I have found aside from the cup I got outside of Animal Kingdom.
Tomorrow my daughter and brother are doing the Segway tour and we may end up at a water park again.
It is pouring right now and we have a 6:00 photo shoot at the Grand Floridian and dinner at O'hanas at 6:50 fingers crossed it will be over by then
We couldn't wait to get out of there, has anyone eaten there? The lady who does the entertainment is horrible, I swear she was drunk 
the food at one point they brought us the steak it was red red red and fatty. I will never go again, and I am not that picky. So far California Grill has been our best meal. Today we are meeting up with my daughter and brother at Typhoon Lagoon after their Segway Tour. We only have two days left it has flown by 
Thanks for the update.Yay the rain did stop and we had our photo shoot at the Grand Floridian and got some great pictures. We then headed off to our dinner at the Polynesian O'hana's I am sorry but this was the worst meal
To all of you looking forward to staying here I love it. I go on the computer every morning to housekeeping to say how many towels, washcloths, room clean etc. and let them know when we will be out of our room. It seems to have been working great everytime we come back the room is all done
) but I think we like Blizzard Beach better. Tonight we went to Epcot and had dinner at Teppan Edo we give it two thumbs up it was really good. It is a must do. We stayed for Illuminations and hung out around Morrocco to watch, it was a really good spot. Matter of fact we were right up at the railing and didn't realize that they shoot around 3 from right above the water scared the .... out of me 
We had to buy a couple of umbrellas it did rain for just a bit, it was too hot for ponchos.
Since Typhoon Lagoon and Downtown Disney share bus service I have found that the buses from there to the Magic Kingdom Resorts seem to take forever, so it does not surprise me at how long you waited for the bus. Besides that it's great that you enjoyed Teppan Edo.Today was good, Typhoon Lagoon was fun (just a note, we had to wait 40 minutes for a return bus back to Contemporary
I just really need to know, is it that bad in the parks?? On another thread they are making out to be horrible!! Shoulder to shoulder in the parks. I just want to prepare myself we leave in a week from today and I figure if I have to DD and I will stay at the pool at BC.
We will be arriving on the same day! We go every summer, but never on July 4th! It IS going to be crowded, but it's DW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
We had Room 4545 which is located on the nineth floor (Magic Kingdom View) It is a really nice room great if you have 5 people in your party or two teenagers like we have. We had a really nice time lots of fun but I am exhausted how do people stay here for any longer than a week 
I would definately stay here again, if Magic Kingdom is your favorite I would highly recommend this hotel. What is nice is that you can walk over take the monorail back, CR is the first stop on the way back If you rent a Sea Raycer I would do it late afternoon, we did it early afternoon and it was hot. Tonight we took the monorail over to the Grand Floridian and went to their quick service, it was ok. If you are visiting soon I recommend to be prepared for the heat and the rain, Ponchos/umbrellas and Misty Mates or spray fans.
It's great that you and your family had an amazing time at WDW and staying at the Contemporary. Also thank you for the live reports because they were a lot of fun to read.Well it is 10:07 p.m. and this is our last night to watch the fireworks from our balcony
