WEll, I'm so happy to be onboard the Wonder. Today Is Nassau day, windy and cool (mid 70's) but beautiful weather. Last night was quite the night... I knew we were in for some rocking and rolling when the public restrooms on the ship were putting out barf bags and the captain made an annoucement....... :earseek: ...in 6 wonder cruises, that was a first for me. The winds and seas calmed down around midnight..about the time DH and I finished watching Mr 3000 in the Beuna Vista Theatre. Cabin 5520 is in great shape and I am loving Frany, our stateroom host.
I wish I could say the same for our servers.... slooowwwww service. While tables around us ( that were seated after we were), were served their entrees, we were still sitting...waiting... and no one at our table even had appt. DH and I are seated with a mom and son from Mass, and a Dad and his daughter from Boston. These poor kids didn't get their entrees till 9:35pm... That is just wrong.. everyone skipped dessert and just left without waiting to be asked if they wanted any... maybe our servers got the hint.
Last night was Triton's, tonight is AP. Since it is timed to the show, maybe service will be faster. We got that EXcellent, outstanding service speech and did not get anywhere near that level of service. :confused3

Everything else is great, we love cove cafe and Diversions...guinness on tap!

Sounds like it's time for a discussion with the Head Server.

It's great to get a LIVE update. Glad that the seas have calmed down for you. That sounds a bit scary!! :earseek:
I hope that your service in the restaurants improve tonight, especially since you'll be in AP.
Continue to have a great time, and keep us posted if you can!! :flower:

Take good care of the Wonder-we get to board on Thusday! :cool1:

Thanks for the post...I'll be on the Wonder 5/1 and can't wait!!!I've been packed and ready for OVER 1 month :rotfl:

Hi so glad you are having a good time, hope your waiters are a little quicker.
We will be on the 19th may cruise and will be staying in cabin 5522 which I believe is a SPC like yourselfs , Silly question but would Frany your stateroom host look after that cabin as well? what are the cabins like?
If you have time would love to hear from you, Take care and have Fun,
Chucklechops

OK, I'm trying this one more time... I tried to post an update yesterday but it got lost in cyberspace. Things are much better time-wise at dinner, but our servers are lacking in the personality department. I have been spoiled by much better past servers... I miss you PJ!!!
Great weather everyday, CC day was just perfect, with warm weather and a mild breeze. The water was cool, but once you got in was ok. DH and I snorkeled and then just soaked up the sun on Serenity Bay. We really enjoyed Pirates night and the fireworks. Today ( day at sea) we are enjoying most of the benifits of our REAS pkg. We had the Champane bkfast in our cabin and then at 9:15 am had our couples massage ( worth every penny).
tonight is Palos and the turndown service. We have almost finsihed up our bottle of bubbly.
Pencoys pirate... the rooms are in a graet location, near the elevators but out of the traffic. Rooms are in very good condition and have everything but the " trunk". But plenty of storage otherwise. I think Frany does all the rooms forward of the elevators on that side of the ship. It's been great as usual, you all will have a great time on your cruises!!
More when I return home on Thursday evening!

25 days until we cruise 5/15/05!!! I enjoy hearing/reading from someon on OUR ship!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great Day At Sea!!!!!! :sunny:

I'd like to know the weather and water temp when you get to CC. ITMT, have a great time! :wave2:

thank you so much for taking the time to post... sounds "Wonderful" I cannot wait. We board on 5/8, do you have any recent navigators that you can send out, so we can have an idea of the events.... do they have a Dressy night? I was glad to hear that the fireworks have begun. that is going to be so wonderful.
