Did not see anyone else start this thread, so I guess I will! First, I had hoped the Wonder would also be in port and she was. Very cool to see them both, even though they were not side by side. Boarding was a bit later than we have encountered previously, but rooms were ready promptly. Also, it is colder than when we cruised last year -- I noticed a lot of folks with long pants and jackets yesterday and we rarely saw that last year.

We upgraded at the port, from a 10 to a 4. OMG, it was a huge mistake (not really!) but we will be so spoiled from now on! :D The balcony is always nice, but that extra space is so nice.

I posted on the Transportation board our very, very bad experience with Art's Shuttle. Learn from our mistake and don't use those people.

Gotta run. Haven't decided between the Italian Buffet lunch at Parrot Cay and the seated lunch at Lumiere's......decisions, decisions..................any questions, I will respond when I can.

We're on board the next Magic sailing (10/23).

What movies are playing this week? Also, if you have kids in the Oceaneer's Club, are Robin and Christina there?

Thanks and take good care of the ship for us!

keep the magic looking good for when we go in 27 days LOL have a great trip and enjoy the cruise

Have a great trip.

Just got off yesterday. Miss it already.

Tinkmom.........if you don't mind me asking, was the cost of the upgrade a lot? We are staying in a 10 and would like to upgrade at the port if possible. I would like to know how much I should budget.

Hope I am not being too nosey!!

Thanks and have a Wonderful trip.

Glad you are hagving a good time already. My next cruise is not till July 2006. I don't know how I am going last. Thank goodness for the boards.:wave2:

Tinkmom, soooooooo jealous, got off yesterday, miss it already, have a great trip, in costa maya you can book all excursions at the dock for half dvc price, the ruins tour is great and better than the dcl mayan one at cozumel . Have fun.

I'm live as well, and have found the answer to 2 of my 3 subjective worries that I posted a few days ago.

1) Yes, I can definately tell I'm at Disney. Little subtle Mickeys everywhere, Disney music, and great CMs!

3) Photographers aren't pushy at all. We skipped the embarkation photo with no trouble.

Haven't met the tablemates yet. We skipped dinner last night because we had a crummy trip down from Philly. One cancelled fight, one late flight, and a resulting missed connection caused us to only sleep 3 hours in 28+ hours.

Even though we didn't miss the cruise, we came too close for comfort. I wished like heck I had bought Trip Insurance.

It's very breezy. I had to buy long knit pants and a hoodie sweatshirt today so I'll be warm at nights. Such a hardship. ;)

the weather yesterday was beautiful, the weather today is crummy, no rain but very little sun. getting on yesterday was awful, didnt start letting in to port until about 10:30 AM, stood in line for over 50 minutes to check in, didnt start letting on ship till about 12:15, once on everything was great, i know ladder 49 isone of the movies, also princess diaries royal engagement, alamo that is all i can think of now

bengals01 -
sorry to hear you had a bad day embarking. I am sure your time onboard will make up for that.

But really not bad, since the terminal/check-in 'officially' begins at 11am and embarkation 'officially' begins at 1pm - sounds like they started early and let you on early. That's why they have the seating area with TV's!!! Nice touch.

Enjoy your cruise! Wish I was there!!!

If u Should Dine At Palo ASK FOR Ann Marie U will Not Be sorry..

And Tell Her Jen And Peter Say Hi...

She will Remember me as the Person Who Did Not Need A Menu And Allowed her To Take Care of Me .. All Week Long When She Was a Server in The Dining Rooms..
and Recently on The 10/02 Cruise ....At Palo...

If at all possible, could someone on board find out if Rudy from South Africa will be on the ship for our 12/4/04 cruise? He was our server last year and we would love to be able to request him. The head server was Nadege, so maybe she could help. I have read that she has been onboard recently. THANKS SO MUCH and have a great week on the Magic!
